Day 1: Phnom Penh on the arrival.
On arrival, check in and visit Wat Phnom and the National Museum. Embark on a captivating half-day tour of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Explore the enchanting sights, starting with the iconic Wat Phnom. Discover the treasures of this religious structure. Visit the National Museum to marvel at ancient artifacts, including a statue of Vishnu and stone inscriptions of Shiva’s life.
Day 2: Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham (60 km).
After breakfast, cycle to cross the ferry to Silk Island and learn about silk production from a local family. Bike 45 km along the Mekong River and have lunch at Bateay restaurant, enjoying delicious Khmer food. Along the way, stop to taste bugs like spiders, grasshoppers, and crickets. Finish the day with a 15 km cycle at Kos Ben to experience a breathtaking sunset. Check-in to the hotel, then have dinner after refreshing.
Day 3: Kompong Cham – Kratie Province (70km).
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our bike ride from the hotel along the Mekong River to Han Chey Hill, where we can enjoy views of the river and have water and snack refreshments. After a break, we continue biking along the river, crossing the Streung Trong Bridge to the other side of the river, cycling directly to Wat Vihear 100. Upon arrival at the Pagoda, we will enjoy a local lunch and then transfer to Kratie Province. We’ll take a ferry to Kos Troung Island for another 12km ride, where we can appreciate the plantations and sunset views.
Dinner will be with a local family, and we’ll spend the night at the homestay.
Day 4: Kratie – Streung Treng, kayaking, boat tour.
After breakfast at the homestay, we’ll take the ferry to the city and then transfer to a boat for a visit to the Mekong River Dolphins. After enjoying the boat ride and dolphin sighting, we’ll transfer to O Svay Village for kayaking and other activities until sunset. Later, we’ll transfer to Kos Han for camping. Overnight at Kos Han!
Day 5: Streung Treng – Siem Reap (Kos Han kayaking and transfer to Siem Reap).
Early in the morning, we’ll have café, then hop on the kayak to enjoy sunrise views and the forest. Afterward, we’ll return for breakfast in the city before transferring to Siem Reap. We’ll arrive in Siem Reap around sunset, where you can check in and have dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap!
Day 6. Siem Reap – Discovery Angkor complex by bicycle (40km).
After breakfast, start the ride from the hotel along the Steung Siem Reap River, passing through urban villages into the spring forest of Angkor Wat Archeology Park. The ride leads through the jungle of a lost civilization, with single tracks and villages surrounding each temple. The trails take you to villagers who make flutes, drums, and other souvenirs sold around the temples. This tour provides insights into the history and life surrounding the complex at each stop. Visit Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Nie, Preah Khan, and Ta Phrom. Finish at the hotel around 4pm. Enjoy dinner at a Traditional Apasara dance performance, with transfer and escort provided by the guide and driver. Overnight in siem reap!
Day 7. Siem Reap – biking to Tonle Sap, Mangroves forest kayaking tour (40km).
After breakfast at the hotel, our crew waiting with the bike to ride to Mechrey floating village for a sightseeing tour of the countryside. Visit the charming and friendly Khmer people working in the rice paddies, take a boat ride through the mangrove forest, and enjoy the stunning views of Tonle Sab. Return to Siem Reap around 3pm. Refreshment at the poolside. Overnight in Siem Reap!
Day 8. Siem Reap – Kompong Thom, Beng Mealea temple (75km).
After having breakfast at your hotel, we will ride through beautiful Khmer villages and countryside for approximately 4 hours, heading towards the hidden jungle temples. Upon arrival, we will pause for a traditional lunch at a local Khmer restaurant. After lunch, we will visit the residence of King Suryavarman II, which he abandoned after several years in favor of building and living at Angkor Wat. Once we have marveled at the wonders of the Royal residence, where he supervised the site’s construction, we will explore the two lost temples surrounding Prasat Beng Mealea. After visiting these two magnificent temples, we will then ride to the incredible Beng Mealea temple itself.
After thoroughly exploring the marvels of Beng Mealea, we will transfer to Kompong Thom to check in hotel and dinner with your guide. Overnight at Kompong Thom!
Day 9. Kompong Thom – Sambor Prie Kok temple (70km).
After breakfast, start the ride along Strueng Seng River and through dirt roads into urban villages, surrounded by rice fields and plantations. Along the journey, pass through small rural villages every 15 km. There will be three refreshment stops offering water, fresh seasonal local fruits, and traditional snacks. Today’s tour focuses on exploring the Steung Seng River area to witness the life of Cambodian rice-growing farmers. After a 55 km ride, arrive at the first ancient city of Jayavarman II. Have lunch and then explore Prasat Sambor temples by bike. The second leg involves a 10 km ride on dirt country roads before transferring back to the hotel in Kompong Thom.
Day 10: Kompong Thom – Phnom Penh (Leisure Visit to Phnom Sanuk and the Royal Palace).
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to Sanuk Mountain to enjoy the panoramic views and explore its historical significance. Then, we’ll proceed to Phnom Penh for a visit to the Royal Palace. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, we’ll check in to our hotel. At 6 pm, your guide will accompany you on a boat cruise for dinner, allowing you to experience the city’s vibrant nightlife. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 11: Free Day in Phnom Penh Awaiting Airport Drop-Off
On this free day, our driver will be available for airport drop-off. Additionally, our guide can arrange a tuk-tuk for you to explore the Russian Market and Central Market before your flight. Have a safe journey back home, and we hope to ride with you again soon!
